I admire your candor and the beautiful way that you express yourself in this blog. As with most of the people who have left comments, this subject resonnates with me at a deep and personal level and it's encouraging to find a 'sister in spirit' who is also choosing to take back the control and move forward.

still a very humble man, with an unbelievable voice.

In terms of inspiration, it usually and frequently comes to those that seek it, or ask for it. But in seeking it, the tricky thing isn't directly looking for that inspiration, but rather being open to what can come through the channels of relaxation, gratitude, charitable work, hope and kindness to those that can't repay you.

That seeking may be completely different than one would think about the word "seek." The paradox is, not expecting that which you need/desire, and giving freely, realizing your own gratitude for the blessings you live with, and voicing your thanks...you get back more than you could ever give.

Shared words of those with "like" faith can be a start of channeling expounded inspiration to the extreme pleasure and enlightenment of all those involved. Please email me when you have the opportunity, your return email isn't deliverable, when I tried.

Interestingly enough, here I sit on Father's day in a hotel, in Jerome, Idaho, awaiting Tuesday's schedule in Thayne, Wyoming, and trying to increase my number of hits on several websites to hope for building monthly income enough to know I won't be up and down the road for life. When I stumbled across one of your tweets, clicked on your face to take me to your website, then your blog, to see that yours is hosted by the same one I recently set up on myself http://blog.krisswilliams.com and your dilemma seems seems to also be very close. I guess really why I've left this comment is because you don't seem to be following me on twitter, so this was the only other choice I seemed to have. I would like to hear how you are coming on your project, and as you can see on my blog, it's blank.

Thanks for sharing. As difficult as it may have been to write, this is a beautiful tribute to your niece.

I lost my daughter to cancer 8 years ago. The cancer was undetected until it was too late. Not a day goes by that I don't think about her. And I think of her as an angel, too. Now, I'm going to start thinking of her as dancing with angels!

Wow, I have sat right there with you.

As I read and then re-read your post I again felt those amazing feelings of hopeless wonder and how it seems we have to know the dark to see and experience the light.

When I finally realised that anything other than pulling myself together and being prepared to be responsible for 'me'- was just not acceptable - I found talents and strengths that were just aching for expression.

The circumstances that were forced upon me by the current economic and social climate were in fact the catalyst that forced me into doing what I have always 'wanted to to' and to follow my passion.....writing!!

Through it I have discovered much about me. Especially amazing is how writing helped me to 'express and manage' both real and imagined pain, disappointment, failures and that most personal of looses to a mother - the loss of a son.

One of my now favorite things is 'laughter' something that is now so obviously present in my life, my blogs, my books and my nature.

Catherine, you are an inspiration, I love your writing, your philosophy on women and life and your blog.

Thank you and I will most certainly be visiting again.
